Paul Woods

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 on Saturday, September 23rd at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Rd, Austin, TX 78750.

Paul proudly served in the U.S. Army for 22 years as an 82nd Airborne Division paratrooper, a military policeman, and a criminal investigator. He retired in Austin, in 1972.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley Woods (Smith), their daughter and only child, Lesley Woods, his brother John Woods of Lafayette, LA, his sister, Anita Vitro of Danville, CA, and several nieces and nephews.

Paul played golf with friends for many years and loved home on the golf course in Point Venture.

Over the years, he and Shirley had 4 miniature dachshunds who were all part of the family and dearly loved.
