

Pauline De La Vega Flores, 86, of Austin passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at her residence in Austin. She was born on June 29, 1928 in Kingsbury, Texas to Juan and Luz Montoya De La Vega. She was a member of St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church and was an Associate with the City of Austin.
Pauline was an inspiration to all who knew her gentle, kind, strong spirit. She adored her family and friends and never failed to show her loving nature, and her adoration of the Lord Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Flores Jr., her son, Tony Flores III and her great-granddaughter, Hilari Rios.
Pauline is survived by her children, Lucy Reyna, Robert Flores, Larry Flores, Ronny Flores, Pam Flores; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Honoring Pauline and serving as pallbearers will be Larry Flores, Christopher Flores, Robert Flores, Kenneth Mann, James Mann, Eduardo Garcia IV and William Brown.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home located at 2620 S. Congress. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Austin. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Seguin, Texas.
