She was born on December 4, 1933, in Florence, Texas, to Clemencia and Florentino Valdez. She was one of eight siblings: Lorenzo Valdez, Isidoro Valdez, Maggie Reynaga, Frances Navarette, Lupe Valdez, and Bella Caballero.
For 70 beautiful years, she was married to her beloved husband, Albert Juarez — a love story that inspired all who knew them.
Pauline lived a life rooted in faith, family, and tradition. She found her greatest joy in quality time with her family — passing down traditions, sharing the family recipes she cooked with so much love, growing her flowers, sewing, and enjoying her outdoor walks.
She will be remembered for her radiant smile, her perfectly permed hair, and her brightly painted nails — and more than anything, for how she loved so fully and unconditionally.
She is survived by her husband Albert Juarez; her children Albert Juarez Jr. and Sarah Valdez Saldana; her grandchildren John Albert Juarez III, Jaime Juarez, Gilbert Valdez Jr., Guadalupe Ramos, Leticia Ramos Icmat, and Stephanie Valdez; her great-granddaughter Aliah Juarez; and her great-great-grandchildren Julianna, Gianna, and Michael, who were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clemencia and Florentino Valdez.
Visitation will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704, US, on September 25, 2026, at 5:00 pm, followed by a Prayer Service at the same location on September 25, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E 2nd St, Austin, TX 78702, US, on September 26, 2026, at 12:00 pm, with a Committal Service at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704, US, on September 26, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
