

Pauline C Keitt, age 94, of Austin, Texas passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. Pauline was born October 5, 1927 in Waco, Texas. She was preceded in death by his parents, Aylmer and Pauline Keitt and her brother, Luther Rush Keitt.
Pauline graduated from the University of Texas in 1964 with a degree of Bachelor of Arts and then earned received a second degree in Laboratory Management. She worked as a Lab Research Technician at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. Jack of all trades, she completed an auto mechanics continuing education course at St. Edward’s University as well. Pauline was a world traveler and enjoyed trips with Luisa to Baja, Canada, Alaska, Tokyo, Singapore, Peru, The Galapagos Islands, Australia, New Zealand, Panama Canal, San Francisco, Monterey, Carmel, Miami, San Diego, Vegas, Santa Fe, Cape Cod, Toas, Ruidoso and Sedona. Her most favorite trip was The Galapagos Islands. Her other interests were gardening, cooking and ancestry. She was the official Keitt family historian. A life-long dachshund lover, she was never without one by her side. First was Sister, then Vicki and Carlotta, followed by Carly, Bruni, Angie and last and still thriving Good Golly Miss Molly.
Survivors include her longtime companion, Dr. Maria-Luisa Urdaneta of Austin, TX; niece, Beth Brubaker and husband Jim of Spring, TX, nephew Brad Keitt and wife Paige of Henderson, niece Susan Gorney and husband Mike of Nashville, TN, and niece Melanie Morris and husband Paul of Henderson; grand niece Christian Patterson and husband Chase of Kilgore and their two children Elliot and Chase, grand niece Collyn Keitt of Los Angeles, CA, grand niece, Madeline Morris of Sacramento, CA, grand nephew Adam Morris of Henderson, grand niece Anna Gorney of Nashville, TN and grand nephew Lawrence Rush Gorney of Nashville, TN; along with her beloved dachshund, Molly and kitty cat Tallulah.
A memorial service for Pauline will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, Texas 78752. Family and friends are invited to stay for a BBQ lunch at Cook-Walden Funeral Home following the service.
