

Mrs. Peggy Gail Angell, daughter of the late Elijah Howell and Madge Patterson was born March 15, 1938 in Iraan, Texas. She attended public schools in Travis County and was a graduate of Travis High School. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ, and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she was a dedicated member. She served faithfully in many positions to include a Primary/Sunday School teacher, a pianist, and in the Relief Society.
She was united in holy matrimony to Harold Edward Angell in March of 1955. This union was blessed with three children: Edward Lee Angell, Susan Novelle Angell and John Lafayette Angell.
Gail was a Cosmetologist for 40 plus years. Her expertise in styling and management led her to become co-owner of Mr. Gene's Hair Salon until her retirement. She was "one of a kind" and exemplary in her profession. Gail was loved by so many because of her generous spirit and cheerful personality. Her positive influence will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life Monday, October 31, 2016 after a long battle with Cancer.
Gail is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Harold E. Angell; her children, son, Eddie Angell and wife Sarah Angell; daughter, Susan Angell-Gonzalez and husband Albert Gonzalez; brothers, Buddie Howell and Gordon Holder; grandsons, Robert Angell and wife Erin Angell, Tom Angell; great-granddaughters, Brooklynn Novelle Angell, and Eleanor Rose Angell. She was preceded in death by her son, John Angell; sister, Clara Novelle Nobles; and brother, Stanley Holder.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm. on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2111 Parker Lane, Austin, Texas 78741.
