Peggy Malott, life long resident of the Austin area, passed away at the age of 70, after an eleven year battle with an unknown pulmonary disease. Peggy recently stated she had a great family that created a happy and eventful life. Somehow, even as a single mother of eight children, she was always able to attend band concerts, speech debates, baseball and football games. If something was needed for the kids, even if they were not hers, she was always there. She even received a Presidential Humanitarian Award for always being there and always giving. Peggy was proud of what she had accomplished in her life because she had lived it fully. Though she has left this world and is no longer here to continue giving, she will continue to be here to watch and help us through our lifes events and accomplishments. She is survived by her eight children, Raymond Graham, Theresa Langberg, Stein Graham, Don Malott, Ron Malott, Maria Pullin, David Malott and Jerry Malott, as well as her fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, June 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Austin, 4107 Spicewood Springs Road, Suite 100, Austin, Texas 78759. Arrangements by Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress, Austin, TX 78704 (512) 442-1446. You may view memorials online at wcfish.com
