Phil A. Cobb, 72, retired executive in the administration of the former Texas Employment Commission passed away on the morning of September 12, 2007. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Frankie Cobb; his sisters, Maxann Eubanks and Susan Ryberg; his wife, Carolyn Cobb; his son, David Cobb; and his daughter, Allison Weaver; granddaughters, Amber Ingram, Crystal Cobb and Brianna Faciszewski. His son-in-law is Joe Faciszewski. His large extended family lives throughout North Texas. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Weed-Corley-Fish, 3125 N. Lamar, Austin, Texas. Life Celebration services will be held at 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Monday, September 17, 2007 in the Chapel of Bethany United Methodist Church, 10010 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas with a reception to follow.
