Primrose is the second of five children of Marguerite Egan and Horace W Hebert. Married in 1952, Primrose and Antony devoted many years to raising their family of five children (Paul, Ann, Helen, Joe, Chris) and were blessed with two lovely grandchildren (Kelly, Greg) and a great grandchild (Meredith).
Primrose had a natural artistic talent which she cultivated all her life. Always an artist, Primrose said this about her work, "I find inspiration from newspaper articles and photos and local walks in the park. I painted one based on a photo of flamingos in Florida which had been herded into a bathroom because of an approaching hurricane! Designing and painting floorcloths has been a new and fun project and that's what it's all about! "
Primrose was an intelligent, warm, loving woman with a beautiful smile and a keen sense of humor, who loved the outdoors and being around people. She approached her last years with an incredible grace we are inspired by.
Primrose will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and their spouses (Kathryn, Mark, David, Joan, Nan, Matt), siblings (Rosemary, John, Veronica), her large family and friends and the many lives she touched as an artist and brightened with her wonderful smile on her journey through life. We send our heartfelt thanks to all who loved and helped her in these last years of her life.
