Ray was born March 18, 1938 in Thief River Falls, MN to Ernie and Marie (Geske) Hogenson. He graduated from Lincoln High School and earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota. He married Kathleen “Kathy” Tolan. Ray was employed and retired from 3M Corporation. He enjoyed traveling in his motorhome, taking walks with his dogs, visiting with neighbors and spending time with his sons and their families.
Ray is survived by his wife Kathy, two sons, Todd Hogenson and his wife Susan of Martinez, CA, Scott Hogenson and his wife Kelly of Pflugerville, TX, 5 grandchildren, Andrew, Bradley, Ryan, Sergey and Christina Hogenson.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:30 pm, Sunday April 22 at the Cook-Walden/Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin TX 78750.
