She was born January 27, 1964 in Fairbanks, Alaska to Robert Anthony Abeyta and Charlice Ann Abeyta.
Rebecca left Alaska and moved to Texas at age 3, where she lived most of her life. She worked for 30 years on the motor mile for different dealerships working as a service manager and public relations.
Rebecca had a vibrant personality, a warm heart, and a genuine consideration for everyone she met. She made an impact on her customers and her coworkers and the out pouring of love since her passing has been heartfelt.
She is survived by her mother Charlice Ann Abeyta, sister Roberta Ann Wehbe (Najib Wehbe), her brother Robert Anthony Abeyta, and nieces and nephews Michael (Mateo), Charlice, Tareza, Layla, Isabel, and Nicholas, her dear husband, Anestacio Contreras II and their children, Amanda Marie Contreras, Andrew Contreras and grandchildren Ava Lorraine Contreras, Ryan Andrew Contreras, Aaron Andrew Contreras, and Noah Andrew Anestacio Contreras, her aunt Patricia Gilstrap and uncle Robert Gilstrap.
The service will be held at Our Lady’s Maronite Church, in Austin on November 16, Rosary at 10:30 and funeral service at 11.
