Refugio V. Acuna, 103, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018, at his home in Dale, Texas with family. All his pain and grief is over, he is at Peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Refugio also known as “Cuco” served his country and was a World War II Navy Veteran.
He is survived by one daughter Mary Ann Acuna, of San Marcos; four sons, Samuel Acuna, Sr., Refugio Acuna, Jr., David Acuna, and Danny Acuna, all of Austin; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Refugio was preceded in death by his wife Maria R. Acuna and his son Joel R. Acuna.
The viewing will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. The Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 P.M.
A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
