I knew Rena for about 50 years. Her daughter Julie and I have been friends since junior high. Many days and nights were spent at their house as I grew up. Rena was always incredibly welcoming and so very sweet to me. I was over there so much that I felt like Rena was my second Mom. Rena had such a great sense of humor and always made me smile. I was over there for dinner numerous times and I distinctly remember and always looked forward to her amazing potato salad! When I was spending the night Julie and I would sneak into the kitchen late night to snack on it. So many great memories and great times with the family! I was blessed to reconnect with Rena in recent years through social media and I am so thankful for that. Rest In Peace sweet Rena. I love you.
