Richard C. Brune, 98, retired pharmacist of Austin, passed into eternal life on Thursday, February 5, 2015. He was born on September 22, 1916 in Baltimore, Maryland to Henry Thomas Brune and Elva Colein Curtin Brune.
As a young boy, he enjoyed singing in the church choir and received a solo boy’s choir medal, which he cherished. Richard continued singing in his later years and sang to his daughters until the end. Two of his favorite passions were gardening, both vegetables and flowers, and his love of sports—especially his beloved Longhorns!
Richard is preceded in death by his devoted wife, Tina Brune. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, Elizabeth Cosgrove and Celeste Brune; and grandson, Dylan Cosgrove.
No services are planned at Richard’s request.
