Richard Franklin Teague, Sr., age 61, of Austin, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. He was born on January 2, 1948 to Benjamin Franklin and Leona Mae Garcia Teague in Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen Denise Teague; daughter, Evette Teague; son, Richard F. Teague Jr.; two step-sons, Donnie and Edward King; adoptive son, Kevin Earl Acosta; nine grandchildren; and brother, Benny Zachery Teague. Visitation will be held from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish, 2620 South Congress. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery, Manchaca, Texas.
