Teri, so sorry for your loss.  We were lucky to have Rick volunteer at Seton Northwest as a shuttle driver, I know how much he enjoyed it too.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I was very sorry to hear about Rick's passing.  It's been a difficult couple of months for you, but I pray that time will help ease your pain.  Now you have a guardian angel to help watch over you.  Take care of yourself, my friend.  Live, Laugh, Love.

Teri, I am so sorry for your loss.  I know this is a very difficult time.  We will be praying for you.

Rick was a volunteer shuttle driver at Seton Northwest Hospital, taking patients and their families to and from their cars.  A tough job when the weather was cold and wet, but that's when he was most needed.  He cheerfully helped, and his service was from the heart.  Rick came to the volunteers when his health challenges required that Teri (who was a Seton Northwest volunteer before him) go back to work.  They traded places--Teri to the work force; Rick to the volunteer community--but kept their service to their community and their devotion to each other intact.  The Seton Northwest Volunteers love both Teri and Rick, and you are in our thoughts and our prayers.

I didn't know Rick for very long but, I can say we were just alike. Stubborn as all get out. Giving up was not in his vocabulary. It isn't in mine either. Terri and I became sister's of a different mother when I would visit with Peggy Rick's mom. Love the hot tub and wish I had taken picture's while we were there. I didn't see a man sick I saw a man enjoying his family, as specially his mother's visit's. So Terri we are still family just a little further away now. Montana is good. Love all of you and will always be so glad to meet a soul friend in Rick.

We got to know Rick just a couple of years before his latest and greatest fight, but we feel privileged to have had that time.  Rick and Harold had the "science stuff" to talk about and seemed to understand one another.  Since I didn't know Rick all that well, I wasn't quite sure how to react to his wry wit.  I knew, though, that he had to be a special person because he was married to Teri, my dear friend.  Teri, I know you and your boys will miss Rick terribly; but, with your family, friends and church, you will find peace and savor the wonderful memories you have of him.  God bless all of you.

Although I didn't know Ricky real well, what I did know was that he had a very dry, but very funny sense of humor, was smart and knowledgeable about many things, was very courageous, very handsome and certainly had a great love of his entire family.  I'm glad to have known you Ricky. You will be missed.

I have only known you since 2006, but knowing you has been a wonderful addition to life.  From the trips to the coast in the old "shasta", the New Years Eve and July 4 fireworks Fireworks at the Lake, to seeing you in costume at the Halloween party, and all the other times in between...it has all been wonderful, and has created many fond memories that will be cherished for years to come. I am honored to call you my friend.

It's very fitting to be in Ricks Guest Book because we were always a Guest at Ricks House. He Loved to be The Cook and will Always be remembered. We will keep the BBQ Hot and the drinks Cold !!!

Its has been incredibly rewarding to have been able to call you my friend and get to know your family over the past 30 years.  The time, help, technical knowledge, smiles and laughs we shared will forever remain as as a celebratory memory of your life and treasure in my heart.

Your light having burned out, we light this one in your memory. We will love and remember you always Ricky.

Lots of fun & fond memories with Ricky, Teri, Nic, & Michael going back over 25 years. He was always an off-the-beaten-path personality. You never knew what was going to come out of his mouth next, but were always guaranteed a good laugh! He always treated me like one of his own sons & that made me feel very at home and safe around him. As a kid, I always looked forward to going to visit him & his family. There was never a dull moment when we were with them. I cannot remember being angry with him one single time in all those years. I do remember laughing a lot though. He was a great, funny, strong, dependable man who always thought of others before himself. Even when he knew he didn't have much time left he still did everything he could to make Teri smile & laugh, a true testament to his character. He will be missed a great deal by all of the lives he touched, and never forgotten. He fought so hard for so long. Now he can rest peacefully.

Praying for comfort for you all during this time. Ricky fought the good fight.

Ricky was a fighter to the end. He led by example and shall be missed. Warm wishes of comforting memories to the family.

I will always remember Rick as part of our lacrosse family. Ours boys all played for Westwood. We all had so much fun at the games & traveling to away games. It is such a sad lost for everyone and our thoughts & prayers are with Terri and the boys at this time. Love to you all, Wendy & Ken
