Robert Henry Bauer was born on September 19, 1951, in Austin, Texas, and died on February 18, 2006, in Seguin, Texas. He was predeceased by his father Richard Walsh Bauer, his mother Ruby Emelie Hohmeyer Bauer, and his brother David Lynn Bauer. He and his family were longtime members of St. Ignatius Church in Austin. He graduated from Crockett High School in Austin, Texas, and earned his college degree from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. He retired to Stockdale, Texas, after teaching at Giddings High School in Giddings, Texas. His death is a deep personal loss to all that knew him. Bob was bigger by far than the 54 years he spent with us here in this life. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wilke Clay Fish Funeral Home 2620 S. Congress Ave., Austin Texas. Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2006 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2006 at Assumption Cemetery, 3530 IH 35 South, Austin, Texas.
