Robert (Bob) Bearl Watson, age 81, of Austin went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 20, 2013. He was born on November 22, 1931 in Evansville, Indiana. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family from complications of Parkinson’s.
Robert is survived by Judy, his loving wife of 46 years; their sons, James Watson, Michael Watson and his wife Tracy; adopted daughter Colleen Woolsey; seven grandchildren: Lance, Angie, Loren and her husband Christian, Travis, Alyssa, Sarah, and David; great-grandchildren: David, Alexander, Isabelle, and Elisa.
Bob was preceded in death by a son, Christopher William Watson. Bob also leaves behind his sisters, Wilma Miller and Wanda Knight and her husband Bill, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Capital Area Parkinson’s Society, Image Fund of Woodlawn Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be Monday, July 22, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks located at 6300 W. William Cannon.
