

Robert Todd Carr, 52, of Austin, Texas, passed away on January 14, 2013. Born on August 25, 1960, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he and his family resided in Norman, Oklahoma before moving to Austin, Texas in 1972. He graduated from Westlake High School in 1978 and attended the University of Texas in Austin. Todd was a stand-out athlete in high school, playing football, basketball and baseball, as well as setting records in track. Most recently employed as a dispatcher for the Salvation Army, Todd also worked for many years at the County Line Restaurants, as well as in real estate.
Preceded in death by his father, Raymond L. Carr, he is survived by his daughter, Rachael Turner (m. Brett Turner) and grandson Jake Turner of Canton, GA; mother Dolores B. Carr of Austin, TX; brother, Richard Craig Carr (m. Patricia Carr) of Dripping Springs, TX, and sister, Holly Ann Morgan (m. Geoffrey Morgan) of San Antonio, TX as well as nephews, nieces, cousins and many dear friends.
A memorial service, conducted by Captain Erik Nickell, will be held on Friday, January 25th at 2:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Chapel, 4216 South Congress, Austin TX 78745 (located behind The Salvation Army Family Store).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Austin Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center. We will remember Todd as a kind man that loved to laugh and loved his family and friends dearly.
