

Robert Donohue Jr. of Austin, passed away on April 15, 2015. Bob, who was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri later moved to Austin as a teenager, attended the Brown School and then graduated from Crocket High School. After graduation, he decided to make Austin his home.
Bob had a great interest in horticulture and became very knowledgeable in plants, flowers and trees. He planted many beautiful gardens. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, floating and fishing. He especially enjoyed hiking at Enchanted Rock State Park with his son Bob. Bob was also an artist and enjoyed painting and playing the guitar.
Bob loved people and had a very kind soul. He is survived by his son, Robert Donohue III of Austin, his father, Robert Donohue Sr., of St. Louis, Missouri, his mother Pamela Lupinacci of Morris, Connecticut, his sister Melissa Donohue of Tiffin, Iowa, and his brothers John Donohue of St. Louis, Missouri and David Donohue of Sedona, Arizona.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas. A rosary and vigil service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m.
