
Robert Dale Han Robert Dale Han, age 87, of Austin, died Friday, October 15, 2004. He was born in Monticello, Indiana to Robert and Twinkle Han on April 24, 1917. He graduated from the University of Indiana with a Business degree in Marketing; he also played college basketball for the Hoosiers. He joined the Army as an officer in the armored Calvary Unit during WWII. He was stationed in Kobe, Japan and completed his service at Fort Hood in Temple, Texas. He and his wife, Millicent Murrell met in Japan during WWII, upon leaving the military he entered the real estate business in Temple, Texas and later moved his business and family to Austin. He was preceded in death by his wife Millicent Han, parents Twinkle and Robert Han; brother, Virgil Han; and sister Orpha Han. He is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Sharp and husband John Sharp; two sons, Robert Dale Han Jr., and wife Candace, Hampden Gregory Han; grandchildren, Spencer Sharp, Victoria Sharp, Chelssy Han, Kymberly Han, and Robert Han, III. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Odyssey Hospice, Park Bend Health Center, and Ashwood Assisted Living for their caring service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2004 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at St. Marys Cathedral, 203 E. 10th Street. Entombment will follow at Assumption Mausoleum.
