He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He possessed a first-class sweet tooth, crafted treasured keepsakes as a woodworker, and enjoyed a good puzzle and a winning season for the Chicago Cubs.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Regina (née Cummings); his brothers, Henry (Josie) Molenda and Frank (Margaret) Molenda; and his parents, Arnold and Julia.
He is survived by his children, Robert Molenda and Michelle (Joseph) Croci; and his grandchildren, Rachel Croci, Megan Molenda, and Joseph Croci.
Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 6-8 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Austin. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Emmaus Catholic Church in Lakeway, Texas. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Cemetery.
