Robert Allen Patterson Robert Allen Patterson, our beloved husband, father, friend, and neighbor passed away Thursday September 22, 2005. Born in Belton, Texas February 23, 1947, Robert called Austin home for the past 30 years. He was a graduate of Smithville High School and of St. Edward's University and had been a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed running, cycling, cooking, crossword puzzles, Civil War history, good jokes and stories, and Final Jeopardy. Robert served as the Court Administrator for the Travis County District Court system for 30 years before retiring recently. He made many lifelong friends in his tenure at the courthouse and enjoyed the many stories and memories those friends provided. He will be remembered as a selfless, devoted husband, father, and friend who brought joy and love to all of those who knew him. His parents Joe Robert and Dorothy and brother Darrell predecease him. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann; children Anne and John; daughter-in-law Michelle; sisters Mary Reader and Jo Baylor; Mother-in-law Emma Goertz; brothers-in-law Robert Reader, Johnny Baylor, Roland Goertz, and Larry Goertz; sister-in-law Rose Goertz, and numerous nieces and nephews. His pets Carl, Bosco and Felix will miss him dearly. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful individuals who were responsible for his care at M.D. Anderson and Seton Hospital. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA, 01202 or a charity close to your heart. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, September 25 at the Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm. A service will be held Monday, September 26 at the Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home at 10 am, followed by a private burial at St. Mary's Church Cemetery in String Prairie.
