Robert Ray Schier, Jr. known as Bob, Bobby, and ‘Bad Bob’ to his friends and family, was called Home on April 26, 2021. He was born September 20, 1958 in Austin, Texas.

After meeting in 1995, Robert Ray Schier Jr. was married to Terrisia Ferrill Biehle on February 22, 1997, and celebrated over 24 years of marriage.

Robert was a life-long citizen of Austin, Texas with homes and businesses in Austin and Elgin, Texas. He recently procured his lifelong dream yacht that he and Terrisia were to soon sail off into the sunset together, as their retirement.

Robert was well known for his many projects, collections, works of art, and passion for living life on the wild side. Those who loved him knew his tendency of leaving small projects incomplete and would tease him about them frequently. However, we also knew Bob Schier had a way to make his largest life dreams come true. He was a leader whose ability to turn dreams into realities inspired everyone around him. The sky was always the limit, he built his business from the ground up and raised his children to work hard, play hard, and never let anyone dictate what they could or couldn’t achieve in life.

Robert was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He loved God, his family, his country, his freedom and he always strived to protect the Constitution that America was founded on. He had countless passions in life, a few of his favorites were; boating, fireworks, live music, car racing, hunting, fishing, collecting antiques, family gatherings, Texas BBQ, brewing sun tea, growing watermelons, a good seafood meal, and traveling with his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; A.O. “Pete” Schier, Demetra Schier, Benjamin “Bennie” Briggs, and Audra Briggs.

Robert is survived by his wife, Terrisia Ferrill Schier; mother, Mattie May Schier; father, Robert Schier Sr.; son, Robert Schier III; daughter, Jenna Kaitlyn Schier; daughter, Tiffany Shreve and her husband Michael; granddaughter, Ella Shreve whom he adored lovingly, spoiled immensely and who called him Papa Bob; sister, Sharen Schier Soliz and her husband Jesse Soliz; nephew, Kaleb Mccall; brother, Peter Schier Sr., and his wife Sherrill Schier; nephew, Peter Schier Jr.; niece Valerie Stegemoeller and a host of close family and friends.

While this is not the bon-voyage we had hoped for and came far too soon, friends and family are invited to join in sharing their memories and love of Robert Ray Schier Jr., whose buoyant pleasure of life touched every heart fortunate enough to have known him, in ways that will leave irrevocable impressions. Visitation will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and a celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. All services will take place at Cook-Walden Funeral Home.

What can I really say about Bob Schier? Perhaps that he was actually one of the most forgiving men I ever knew. He was also the kind of man who would move a mountain for his family, no matter the cost. He worked so hard for his family that 40 hours a week seemed like a side gig.

Bob, loved you so much Terrisia. He loved his children, all of them. He still does. Please take comfort my dear friend in knowing that Bob is next to the savior and together they are preparing you all a place. Thank you God for the life of Bob Schier and continue to bless his family and give them peace that passing all understanding.

I will love each of you forever and will pray for your peace.

This was a lovely service for Bob today, I'm grateful I could attend from afar in Tennessee. Words cannot capture the loss and sorrow I feel. My love for Bob, Terrisia, Jenna, Robert, Tiffany and all the family goes deep and I'm left feeling shocked and sad, but mostly feeling fortunate to have ever known Bob to begin with. I may have only been "the nanny", but I'd of taken a bullet for his kids, and he knew that. I was there when he and Terrisia had their first date and witnessed those two fall in deep love, instantly. Then they had the wedding of the century, and the rest is history. If I had to choose one thing that I most remember about Bob, other than the love he had for his wife and kids, it's the fact that he always had some wise advice to give. He honestly gave me the best advice anyone ever had to offer, and I've used all of it often throughout life. Loyalty was also important to him, as was good Work-Ethic, and he appreciated strong honest people. His wild sense of humor also did not go unnoticed.

I have cried a river over Bob, but though he's gone from this Earth, he is for sure living on in legacy. I want Terrisia and kids to know that I am forever thinking of them and am here ALWAYS!

The loss of my brother-in-law Robert Ray “Bobby” Schier Jr. has made this world a sadder place to live. His ambition for living life in the fast lane inspired everyone he came in contact with. Bobby once told me, “ I live life on my terms, the sky is the limit and no one can keep me from being on top.” We shared good times and bad times but always remembered we were family, bound by the mutual love for his older sister Sharen Sue Schier Soliz. Bobby was a man with an enormous heart that only grew after meeting and marrying the love of his life Terrisia Biehle Schier. Her love transformed Bobby. I saw him become a man with a strong will to achieve his future goals for retirement. He focused on the second love of his life, his family, and finally he and Terrisia began taking steps to to realize their dream of owning a “Shameless“ Yacht for sailing the seas in retirement.
I will miss him immensely. Rest In Peace my brother.

Papa bob was my wonderful, smart grandfather. Papa bob was an inspiration to many people including me. He would push me to my max and even farther on then, and he would never let my fail in life. Him being gone is The hardest thing I’ve experienced so far into my life. He brought so much joy and laughter into the family. And that’s what we will miss most about bob. We love you so much, and we hope your having the best time of your life in the gates of heaven. Rest In Peace. ❤️🥺

I met Bob via my late husband ‘Big B’ as Bob called him and as a result became friends with one of the most amazing women I know to this day. Bob and Big B grew up together, lived and laughed together. And yes .... got into trouble together. Boyz. 🤷🏻‍♀️
What I’ll remember the most is how much Bob loved, admired and shared his life with Terrisia. It was beautiful.
My deepest condolences to you all. Bob will forever remain in your hearts.
