Robert Lee Schoenfeld was born in Georgetown, Texas on August 31, 1956. He moved to Austin where he attended O' Henry Jr. High School and spent his childhood in west Austin where also attended Austin High School. He met his wife, Maria, had two children, Justin and Chris. As a young man he began working as house framer and roofer and would later come to master the craft of carpentry, later he ran his own contracting business for several years. My sweet, sweet little bro. I miss you so much. My heart aches knowing we won’t swap stories, share our secrets and lean on each other’s shoulders.
I’m so sorry we didn’t get to do the things we had planned.
I know you are no longer in pain.
You have been the best brother I could have ever asked for.
I love you and you will always be in my heart. Rest peacefully Sweetheart.

Lee was just a toddler when I first met him. He was as much a part of my childhood, and as much family as my own little brother. My thoughts and prayers, and certainly my love are with his family!
