Robin Luann Collins, age 50, passed away on May 25, 2007, after a brief but brave battle with cancer. Robin, a fun-loving wife and mother was born on April 30, 1957, to Fletcher Rhodes, Jr. and Gail Inglis in Corpus Christi, Texas. Robin was a full-time, loving mother and the director of the Llano River R.V. park which she had conceived and guided through its construction. She lived with her children near Llano where they all enjoyed a life focused on family, horses, the out of doors, and her extraordinary cooking. Robin had the unique ability to make strangers feel like old friends, and she will be missed by all of those who knew her. Robin was taken from us far too soon, and her loving guidance will be missed every day. Robin leaves behind her sons, Colby Collins, Cade Collins, and Casey Collins and her daughters, Carrie Collins and Kelley Galatoire, her honorary daughter, Ashley Townshend, three grandchildren and two grandchildren on the way, as well as her lifelong love, Walt Collins. She is also survived by her mother, Gail Inglis and her brother, Fletcher Rhodes. Special thanks to her best friend, Joyce Hill, who stayed with her to the end. The memorial service, presided over by Chris Sanders, will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to Hospice Austin, 4107 Spicewood Springs Road, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78759 or on-line at www.hospiceaustin.org.
