Rogelio "Roger" Culangen Valencia

home on July 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born on May 30th, 1941 in

Villaviciosa, Abra, Philippines. He was a devoted husband to his wife of almost 61 years, Fe Viado

Valencia. Roger was a loving father to his five children, Rofel, Jojo, Joyce, Divine and Darlene. He

was a wonderful grand "Papa Roger" to all his 15 grandchildren, Kayzel, Karel, Lucky, Princess,

Jonafer, Georgy, Elizabeth, John, Chantal, Nathan, Sebastian, Adrian, Scarlet, Brenna and Rourke.

He was also a great grandpa to his 5 great grandchildren, Deidei, Audrie, Faya, Amaru Trae and

Isla.

Roger dedicated his career to the field of Engineering, serving as an Electrical Engineer for 3M

Company for 45 years. Roger will be missed by his family and friends and all who had the pleasure of

knowing him. His legacy of love, wisdom and laughter will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

If you had a chance to meet our Papa Roger, you will remember how passionate he was when

it comes to listening to all kinds of music and his love for life in general. He loved talking to anyone he

met and sharing life experiences and lessons.

Papa Roger, God have you in heaven, but you will always be in our hearts.

The Second Viewing will be held Friday, August 8th, 2025 10:00 am to 11:00 am St.Thomas More Catholic Church, 10205 N FM 620, Austin, TX, 78726

With a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am

A private cremation service will follow after the funeral mass
