Ronald Ron Luvel Evans, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. He was born in Stamford, Texas on January 21, 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved dog, Pepe. Ron is survived by his brother, Tommy Evans and family of Midland, Texas and his partner Ron Dodson of 37 years and their shop cat Carlotta at Lets Dish and LaDean Sapp, his sister within his heart. He graduated from Midland High School and attended Odessa College and UT at Austin. Evans, as he was known by his friends, will be missed for his wisdom, quiet smile and sharp humor. There will always be a chair for him within that circle of friends. Memorial services are pending. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Austin Humane Society.
