Ronald (Ronnie) Douglas Morriss, age 67 of Austin, Texas went home to be with the Lord, Friday, December 9, 2016. Ronnie was born January 3, 1949 in Midland, Texas to Gus and Opal Morriss. He was a 1967 graduate of Travis High School, 1976 graduate of the University of Texas, and a life-long member of Kinney Avenue Fellowship Church, all of Austin.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 14th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Weed-Corley-Fish South, 2620 S. Congress Ave. in Austin. The service will be held Thursday, December 15th at 10:00 am at Weed-Corley-Fish South under the direction of Pastor Ken Baldwin of Kinney Avenue Fellowship Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Texas Baptist Children's Home, 1301 N. Mays St., Round Rock, Texas 78664.
