Ronnie Lee Graef

Ronnie Lee Graef was born in Austin, Texas on October 24, 1941. He joined our Lord and Savior on October 30, 2014 at the age of 73. He was the first born son to Edgar and Gussie Graef of Creedmoor, Texas. Brother to Gary Graef and wife Phyllis; Clifford Graef and wife Lisa; and Pattie Graef Burnett and husband Dale. Best Uncle ever to Ken (wife Glenna) Graef; Brian Graef; Ashley Graef; Clinton Graef; and Matthew (wife Glynis) Burnett; Jacob (wife Danielle) Burnett; and Joshua Burnett.

Ronnie was a Christian man full of love not only for his family but for everyone he met. In his earlier years he worked on the farm with his father and brothers plowing fields and feeding cows. For fun, they enjoyed deer hunting on the weekends together. Later in life, he worked at Graef Grocery for 30 years stocking shelves and sneaking candy bars. He loved visiting with all the customers. He was known as Creedmoor's meteorologist as you would always find him with his hand held radio. He never missed a Sunday enjoying a family meal and several games of dominoes.

If you ever had a hug from Ronnie, you would never forget it. He hugged with so much love. God lived in him and God has taken a truly great man into his Kingdom.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Buda United Methodist Church with Reverend Nancy Day officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery, Buda, Texas.

There will be a visitation at Ronne's home following the service. Please join the family for sandwiches and fellowship.
