

Rose Lee Stratton, age 90, of Leander, Texas, formerly of Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025. Born in Taylor, Texas, Rose was the youngest child of Walter Kaatz and Minnie Brinkmeyer Kaatz. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne R. Stratton, and her son, Mark Allen Burnett. Rose Lee was also predeceased by her siblings: Ervin, Walter, Gill, Dessie, Wernan, and Adolph.
Rose Lee worked for many years at Motorola, where she managed the events department and had the opportunity to travel the world. Her work took her to destinations including Japan, Germany, Switzerland, and Bali, where she built lasting friendships and cherished memories.
Rose Lee enjoyed coastal fishing with her husband Wayne, and was an avid reader throughout her life. She was an active member of Palm Valley Lutheran Church.
Rose Lee is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Michael) Cardenas, and Tracy Burnett; her grandchildren, Amber Rose (Michael) Terry and Michael James Cardenas Jr.; and her great-grandchildren, Morgan Rose Terry and Brandon Scott Terry, all of whom she loved dearly and held close to her heart.
Rose Lee’s legacy is one of love, hard work, and a deep commitment to family and community. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A friend to many she was a cherished member of the community where she lived.

A memorial service is scheduled for January 23rd at 2 p.m. at Palm Valley Lutheran Church in Round Rock, Texas.
