
It's difficult to move on when you know they're gone ... gone beyond our reach, leaving this mortal world behind. But they have left us memories that no one can take away, memories that will bring forth a smile and conquer the painful tears. It is time to remember them smiling, till we see them again. The day is near when we will be reunited with our loved one-John 5:28,29



The Father blessed so many through Brother Ross. His gentle kindness and humility have been felt for generations, giving coins to children, teaching and blessing through the signs and hospitality at Montopolis, nightly devotions that have been the example for raising my own children. My love to all the family. May the God of all comfort comfort your hearts in Jesus.



We would like to express our deepest sympathies to all the family for your great loss.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.  May the Lord be with you and bless you.

1Thess. 4:13-18   But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.



Ross was a very kind and giving person.  Giving coins to the kids was just one way in which he showed a genuine interest in others. The children all enjoyed being noticed by an adult of the church and mine never spent a single coin, but cherish them. Ross remembered everyone's name and always had time to say hello and ask about one's life.  And who can forget the tent meetings! Especially through the 70's and 80's. Big meetings full of  fellowship and worship. Thanks to Ross for all the good he did. May God continue to bless his family and comfort Helen at this time. 



     Some men feared God.  Ross loved and embraced Him.  His teachings
rubbed off in his work with his employees as well the customers.  His
kindness showed and always had a smile when he would greet the
customers at his business.  He seemed to have timeless energy, walking in
and around his business.  He valued the people he met.
      Now, we value a great man, Ross, who we have lost.
      But, we will not forget you.

Our Love and Prayers are with Sister Helen and  Sister Lisa and the whole family. There are so many memories we have of Brother Ross and his stand for the Truth. There will be an empty seat in the Church that  cannot be filled, but rejoicing in heaven for his journey home. Praying that our Lord wraps his loving arms around the family and gives them the comfort, peace, and strength that only He can. And yes - the  Dollar coins. I have quite a few that Brother Ross gave my children - but that is not all he gave. He will be remembered for  his Love for the Church.



 Bro Ross is one who will ways be remembered for his great example as a good Christian man. He was always smiling and always willing to help others in need.  I too have a few coins given to me throughout the years I've known him. I pray for Sis Helen, Bro David, Sis Lisa, and all their families as they go on through life. There are many memories they will never forget, and Bro Ross will always be in their hearts. There might be a void here on earth, but Heaven got brighter on entrance.  May God Bless You All,

Somewhere in my parents' house is a tootsie-roll-shaped bank full of the coins Brother Ross gave to us kids. I have such memories of him - the silver dollars, the ink pens, the monkey in the yard, his soft laugh, but most of all his gentle spirit. He was a fine Christian example. May God comfort your family.




I would like to offer my condolences to Sister Helen, Bro David and family and Sister Lisa and family. My family have many memories of Bro. Ross--good memories. We looked forward to the Labor Day Meeting each year and having them into our home for lunch ! I still have 7 coins which he gave to our grand son Zach! Love you all! Will keep you in our prayers!




Dad was the strength when Mom, David and I were weak. We will forever remember him for his many unselfish acts of charity and the Silver Dollar coins. Anyone out there who can say they still have one?
