

Roy Henry Farley, 76, of Austin, Texas, passed away April 27, 2012, at Seton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at the Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Dave Lucus of the Milano First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 12:00 noon.
Roy was born April 26, 1936, in Presque Isle, Maine, and was preceded in death by his parents and a younger brother. Survivors include his loving wife, Sang Han Farley of Austin; two daughters, Patricia Joan and husband, Rob Roberts, and Pamela Farley all of Washington State; brother, John Farley and wife Lynda, of Kentucky; sisters, Joan Williams and husband, Bill, and Patricia Beck and husband, Clifton, all of Milano, Texas; brother-in-law, Ken Han and wife, Annie, of Austin; numerous nieces and nephews and friends and two precious pets, Bo-Bo and Sissy.
Roy was a career soldier serving his country in various parts of the world, including the Korean Conflict and the Viet Nam War. After twenty years of service, he and his wife, Sang, retired to Austin, Texas.
