Roy Thomas Gunn, age 71, of Austin, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2003. Mr. Gunn transferred to Austin from Sunnyvale, California in 1986 and worked for Lockheed Missiles and Space. He retired in 1990 with 35 ½ years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Gunn, and his stepson, Lloyd Overby. Survivors include his wife, Edna Gunn; mother, Flora Smith; sister, Bonnie Burjoice and husband Robert; brother, Ray Gunn and wife Connie; son, Jerry R. Gunn and wife Karmen; stepdaughters, Wanda Stark and husband Greg and Linda Otto and husband Ron; stepsons, Wayne Overby and wife Diana, Lonnie Overby and Wesley Overby and wife Sylvia; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2003, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, with Reverend Gordon Bergstrom officiating.
