Ruby was born December 17, 1918 in Alice, Texas to Alva Clyde White and Anna Belle White. She was the first of four children for Alva and the first of five for Ann. She attended high school in Alice and was working for her father when she met Robert Scott. Robert and Ruby were married on July 5, 1942.
Ruby Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; sisters, "Bob" Crocker and Freddie Nyland; and brother, Bill White. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sunne and Jeff Wiginton; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Donna Scott; four grandchildren, David Scott Wiginton, Glenn Scott, Darron Scott and Jennifer Scott Wisian; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, "Mick" Beaver.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23rd at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, North Lamar. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Memorial Hill Park with Rev. David Schroeder officiating.
