Ruth Tucker Bartholomew was born on August 7, 1920 in Clifton, Texas and died on March 9, 2004 in Austin, Texas. She was a long time resident of Austin. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, C. Morley Bartholomew. Survivors are daughter, Betty McClain of Grand Prairie; son, Eugene Bartholomew of Katy; grandchildren, Joseph Haynes, Byron Haynes Jr., Ryan Bartholomew, Cindy Klatt and Terrie Lee; numerous great-grandchildren and niece, Frances Hawley.
