Ruth Allen Meredith, age 70, of Austin, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2004. She was born June 19, 1934, to Eugene and Una Allen in Manor, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bill C. Meredith, Sr., sons, Billy C. Meredith, Jr., David Meredith, Jimmy Meredith, Kenneth Meredith, Donnie Meredith, daughter, Sandra Meredith, sister Lilly Darity, brothers Albert and Marvin Allen. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2004, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2004, at Haynie Chapel Cemetery in Garfield, Texas, with Reverend Clyde R. Poldrack.
