Sally G. Salazar

Sally G. Salazar, age 88, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025. She was born on February 6, 1937, and lived a long, beautiful life filled with love, resilience, and deep devotion to her faith and family.

Sally was married to the love of her life, Marcelino “Moy” Salazar Jr., until his passing in 1993. Married for 39 years, they built a large and strong family whose love will carry on her legacy for generations to come. She worked diligently for 35 years at H-E-B, where she was respected for her dedication, reliability, and genuine care for others.

She was preceded in death by her children Rosie Salazar and Steve Salazar, as well as a granddaughter and grandson who welcomed her into Heaven. While their loss was a great sorrow in her life, she carried their memories with unwavering love.

Sally is survived by her four loving children: Olivia Harros, Marcelino Salazar III, Lupe Perez, and Angelica Salazar. Her family continued to grow through the years, blessing her with 27 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her deeply. Her home was the heart of the family, a place where stories were shared, memories were made, and everyone felt truly loved.

Her life will be honored at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home on November 6, 2025, followed by interment at Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the extraordinary life she lived.

Sally will forever be remembered for her caring heart, her strength through life’s challenges, and the joy she brought to everyone blessed to know her. Her love remains eternal in the hearts of her family, and her legacy will continue through the many generations she nurtured and guided.

May she rest in peace, reunited with those who went before her.

A visitation will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, located at 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704, on November 6, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same venue from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Interment will also occur at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services on November 6, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
