Samuel Edward and Lucy Elizabeth Edney took their final rest in the arms of their loving parents on June 4 and 5th in Austin, Texas at St. David’s Medical Center. Sam and Lucy’s sweet presence and shining light will be missed more than their parents have the words to describe. Though they were with their family for only a brief period, that’s all the time they needed to change the lives of those around them forever. Their family is forever grateful to have spent this brief, but incredibly meaningful, time with them.
Sam and Lucy are survived by their loving family, parents Jenna Edney (Tomko) and Anthony Edney; Aunt Danielle (Alisse and Aaliyah), grandpa Theodore Edney; great grandpa James Tomko; great grandma Janette, Aunt Patty, and many loving aunt, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Sam and Lucy were preceded in death by their grandmother Alisha Martin.
Services will be private, and Sam and Lucy will be cremated so they can always be with their parents. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The PPROM Foundation or Austin Pets Alive in their name.
