Santiago Jimmy B. Romero, Sr. Santiago B. Romero, age 81, of Austin passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife Della Romero, grandson Ronnie Romero and son-in-law Manuel Arriaga, Sr. He served in the Army of the United States, 884th Preflight Squadron. He is survived by his daughters, Vidalina Arriaga, Mary Yanez and husband Ray Sr., Annie Secor and husband Brian of Hutto; sons, Jimmy Romero, Jr., Albert Romero, Sr. and wife Lucy, Ruben Romero, Sr., and wife Benita, Arnold Romero Sr., and wife Melissa; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Rodriguez and Mary Helen Mendoza; brothers, Adolph Romero and wife Frances of St. Paul, Minnesota, Joe L. Romero and wife Minnie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 16, 2004, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home.
