Born January 16, 1923, in Newton, Kansas, he lived in Oklahoma, California, and elsewhere in Texas, before settling in Austin. He worked many years as a hospital administrator throughout Texas and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a good and kind man, beloved by his family, and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Donadell, and daughters, Nancy Hudson and Ceedell Cochran, grandchildren, Bryce Simonds, Melissa Cochran, Courtney Cochran, and Kellie Smith, and great-grandchildren, CJ Cantrell and Brody Smith. No memorial service is planned at this time.
