Sean Rodin

Sean Rodin, our beloved artist, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and husband was born to Donna and Martin Rodin on May 16, 1986. He was destined to become an amazing artist and an even more amazing person as he grew from infancy to adulthood.

Sean embraced the challenges that life offered and never swayed on his principles or goals. He was a great lover of art and creator of art, as well as a great fan of Star Wars. He shared his love of these two things with all who knew him. Sean journeyed through life like a true hero and his heart was like a great galaxy filled with love and kindness. Sean was an avid gamer and lived for his game nights with his friends. He loved collecting comics and costumes. Sean loved Halloween more than any other day in the year. He lived for it.

Sean is survived by James Morales and Princess Leia, his dog, who were his loyal companions on his journey through the latter years of Sean’s life. Sean is also survived by his parents, Martin and Donna Rodin, his brother Jason Rodin, and his grandparents Larry and Verna Rodin, Myra Williams and the late Don Williams. Sean was also loved and celebrated in this world by his aunts and uncles, Wayne Rodin and the late Gloria Rodin, as well as Linda and Kent Hudgins and by his cousins Clarke and Hogan Hudgins, Kristin Rodin and Andrew Wiseman.

Sean will be remembered as the family’s guardian, the one who could bring joy and light to the family even in the darkest of times. The universe has lost a champion, but Sean’s legacy will shine like a supernova, illuminating our lives forever. We are forever better for having Sean in our lives. He will never be forgotten.

A celebration of life for Sean will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 5416 Parkcrest Drive, Austin, TX 78731.
