Sharon McGrath Ludwig

Sharon Sue Ludwig passed away peacefully after a long battle with Cancer, Thursday, April 15, 2021 in St. David’s South Hospital surrounded by her loved ones Christopher and Dudley holding her hands at the age of 61 years old. Sharon was dearly loved by her husband Dudley and our son Christopher and wife Robin and grandkids Adley, Ryker, and Finley.

Sharon is survived by husband, Dudley, son, Christopher Sloan and wife Robin. 3 lovely grandkids, Adley, Ryker and Finley. Sister Lisa Neuendorff and husband Keith, brother Larry McGrath and Wife Diane, Brother Mike Blair and wife Carol and sister Darlene.

She was preceded in death by her father Richard McGrath, Sr, her mother Beverly Sue McGrath and her brother Richard McGrath, Jr.

Sharon graduated from Hempstead High School in 1978 and pursued a career in nursing. And later excelled in labor and delivery. She helped to bring many sweet babies into the world.

Sharon enjoyed the ministry, having participated in a Kenyan trip to minister. Sharon had a true heart for the Lord and loved to share with others about Jesus. She was an avid gardener spending countless hours planting and taking care of her plants. Sharon's greatest pleasure was being with and playing with her grandkids. She adored Adley, Ryker and Finley. They were her world!

Sharon will be greatly missed. We take comfort knowing that we will meet again one day.

A visitation for Sharon will take place at the Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon dr, Austin Texas on Thursday, April 22 6pm - 8pm. Services will be held at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon dr, Austin Texas, Friday 4/23/21 at 10am.
