As a cosmetologist, Sharon owned a shop for over 40 years, creating a family atmosphere for her clients. She also served in the military, beginning in the United States Marine Corps, finishing as a Sergeant First Class in the Army National Guard at Camp Beauregard in Pineville, Louisiana.
Sharon is survived by her son and his wife, Jim and Lee Ann Hoffmann, her daughter, Heidi Hoffmann, three grandchildren, Andrea, Morgan, Adam, and five great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Brodie Ranch Rehabilitation and Nursing Home for the care and compassion they showed our mother in her final days.
Sharon had special memories and stories remembering her years of military service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to be made in her name to the Wounded Warriors Project.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 5th, 10:00AM at Dry Prong Cemetery.
