Shirley Kiskadden Howe, 85, passed away on Sunday, 16 Feb 2025, at home, in Austin, Texas. She was born in Franklin, Pa. Feb 3, 1940 and was preceded in death by her parents Clarence & Sarah Kisdadden and oldest son Kevin Howe. A blind date arranged by a close cousin with an airman stationed on Long Island lasted 64½ years. A lot of mileage including two moves to Germany, 4 children, Kevin Howe of Dallas, Tx, Tammy Kjos of Knob Noster, Mo, Corey Howe of San Antonio, Tx and Heather Adam of Austin, Tx. Twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother will be missed and be laid to rest on 26 Feb 2025. A special thanks to APD, EMS and AFD for their valiant efforts. Alzheimer's research can always use donations in lieu of flowers.
A visitation for Shirley will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00pm also at Cook Walden Forest Oaks. Graveside services to follow in Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park, 6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749.
