Stimmie Scott Jr.

He was born on January 7, 1968, in Monroe, Louisiana. As a young boy, he moved to Fifth Ward of Houston, Texas, where he was raised and educated. It was there that his character was shaped and his lifelong love for people was formed.

Stimmie was a lover of people and a natural caretaker. He was always giving, always helping, and always showing kindness - especially to those in need.

Stimmie was a very hard worker, who took great pride in his work. He was employed with Amazon and was known for his dedication and commitment. His motto was simple, "I come to work to show up and show out."

At the time of his passing, Stimmie was preparing for work. He departed this life on his knees in prayer, a powerful reflection of his faith and devotion. Though his earthly journey has ended, his love, generosity and spirit will live on through the many lives he touched.

Stimmie Lee Scott Jr. is lovingly remembered and survived by his devoted wife, Paulette Deshun Scott; his son, Phillip Lee Scott; his stepdaughter, Brittany Monroe; his stepson, Devonte Kimble and his daughter-in-law, Ayanna Kimble. He is also cherished by his grandchildren; Deanna, Omarion, Kamaria, Kimoni, Amina, and Alanea.

Stimmie is further survived by his loving siblings and extended family, including; Denise Daniels, Raymond Daniels, Andrew Daniels, Donnell Swearington, and Paul Scott. He also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces (10), nephews (12), cousins, and many dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and love.

Stimmie Lee Scott Jr. is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Esther Mae Daniels and Stimmie Lee Scott Sr.; his siblings, Eddie Scott, Crystal Scott, and Letha Renee Daniels; and his grandson, Amias.

The Family of Stimmie Lee Scott Jr. would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the many prayers, phone calls, messages, visits, words of encouragement, and acts of kindness shown during this time of bereavement.
