The greatest granddaughter, daughter, sister and friend that you could ever hope for has left us far too soon. We hope she realized how much she was loved. Her only regret would have been that she didn't have the chance to help as many people as she could have. Summer was a person of the highest intellect, eloquence and thoughtfulness. No one could ever make perfection seem as simple, beauty as fragile, laughter as priceless. We are all so grateful to have been touched by her life. If you had the privilege to know Summer or to see her perform, take care the rest of them are the truly unlucky ones. If you didn't, well, she liked to read obituaries too. In lieu of flowers, which she had odd taste in anyway, the family asks that donations be made to: The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania c/o Christina Howden, Development Office, University of Pennsylvania Law School, Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Please note that they are for the Summer Jackson-Healy Fund. This fund will aid the Equal Justice Foundation, part of the Public Service Scholars program at Penn, which used to support summer jobs in the public interest field for Penn Law students. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 20th at First United Methodist Church located at 1201 Lavaca Street. Obituary and guestbook available online at wcfish.com
