Sytha Mae Spradling

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer R. Spradling; son, Leslie Spradling; son-in-law, Chester Johnson; two sister, and five brothers.

She is survived by her son, Alton Taylor and his wife Carey Taylor of Austin; daughter, Janelle Johnson of Pflugerville; daughter Betty Ann Fitzpatrick and her husband Caswell Fitzpatrick of Ponchatoula, Louisiana; 14 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from ten o’clock in the morning until eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 26th of February 2011. Funeral services will begin at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 26th of February at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas 78752. A graveside service will be conducted at Cook- Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, where Mark Gardener of Ridgetop Baptist Church will officiate.

Pallbearers will be John Williams, Chris Cuny, Travis Spradling, Danny Johnson, Randall Wells, and Russell Wells.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Buckner Villa’s personnel for the loving care provided by them over the years. She was grateful for the many friends she came to know and love while there.
