He was born in Kaduna, Nigeria, on April 25, 1949, to Alhaji Bello Adedokun and Alhaja Humuani Adedokun.
A College Professor of almost four decades, Tade taught in several colleges both in Nigeria and America, the last of which was Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee, from where he retired in 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Foye Adedokun of Austin, Texas; his sons, Toyin and Tayo Adedokun, both of Austin, Texas; his daughter, Tobi Adedokun of Memphis, Tennessee; three brothers, one sister, several half-siblings, nieces and nephews.
In celebration of his life, a Graveside Service will be held at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas 78731 Sunday August 20, 2023 at 12 Noon.
