

Sergeant Tammy Wallace Hazle 45, with the Travis County Sheriffs Office passed away on Wednesday February 22. As the daughter of Richard and Beverly Foster, she is the loving mother of Noah Mathew Hazle 14 and Isaiah Nathaniel Hazle 11. She is the older sister to Steven and Stefany Wallace. She was born in Austin, Texas February 27, 1966. Tammy graduated from Del Valle High School and went on to become a school nurse for the Del Valle Independent School District. In 1989 Tammy began working for the Travis County Sheriffs Office as a Corrections Operator. Through hard work and sacrifice she moved up in position to become a fully licensed Corrections Officer. Eventually receiving a degree in Criminal Justice, Tammy became a Deputy in the Corrections Division of the Sherriff's Office and rose to the position of Sergeant.
She dedicated her life to her two sons. Tammy lived a life of sacrifice with the motto, "family above all,". She was a source of strength and resolve and never failed to leave an impact on those she called friend. Those who knew her will severely miss her and those who loved her will remember her for her dedication and unwavering love.
There will be a family visitation Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 6 – 9 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress Ave, Austin TX. Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 1, at 3 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel, interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
