Theodore Ted Hughes Our beloved Ted Hughes, age 87, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home by Our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 6, 2005, while surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents George Daniel Hughes and Irma Ruth Hughes; brother, Layton and Winston; sister, Lillian; wife Mary Katherine Hughes. Survivors include son, George David Hughes and wife Deborah of Austin; granddaughter Misty Henley and husband Nathan of Austin; sisters Joan Gaulding of Austin, Gladys Mott of Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Hospice of Austin, Cecil and Juanita Impson. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm on Friday, April 8, 2005, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Christian Life Church with Reverend Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
